What is Google-AI?
Google-AI is a division of Google solely dedicated to development and research in artificial intelligence. It was initiated by the CEO, Sundar Pichai in the year 2017.
Motivation
As stated on Google-AI's website, it aims to organize the world's data so that it becomes accessible to everyone and can be easily made use of. It aims to explore all possible opportunities which lead to better & smarter technology, aiding individuals and organizations, working in different domains/sectors having specific needs and capabilities. Google-AI provides its users with frequently published researches which range across variety of domains. They also provide open-source tools like the widely acclaimed TensorFlow, for the user's Machine Learning needs. Simply put, Google-AI is seen by its initiators as a platform that is socially beneficial, fair, accountable and works for everyone.
